BALLISTIC TRANSPARENT ARMOR
Lightweight carbon-fiber composite panels are engineered to fit the complex architecture of the G63. Vehicle geometry is captured digitally using 3D laser scanning and modeling, then armor components are produced using advanced CNC cutting and forming methods for precise fitment behind the factory interior.
The objective is simple: preserve the G63. Its design, luxury, performance and presence remain intact, while an advanced lightweight ballistic system is integrated discreetly throughout the passenger compartment.
Multi-layer ballistic glazing replaces the factory glass throughout the protected passenger compartment, maintaining the visibility, fit and premium appearance expected from the G63 while providing B4-rated transparent protection.
UNDERSTANDING B4 PROTECTION
BUILT FOR THE HANDGUN THREAT.
B4 is engineered around the handgun threats most relevant to civilian and executive protection. Under the CEN ballistic hierarchy, BR4 is defined by a .44 Magnum test threat, with lower handgun protection levels addressing 9mm and .357 Magnum. The result is meaningful handgun protection without the substantial mass required for rifle-rated armor.
31%
9MM: MOST COMMON
9mm was the most frequently identified caliber in a peer-reviewed U.S. shooting study, representing approximately 31% of shootings where caliber was established.*

BUILT AROUND THE VEHICLE
DISCREET BY DESIGN
Rather than forcing generic armor into the vehicle, Ultralight B4 components are designed around the actual G 63 architecture. Protection disappears behind the factory interior so the finished vehicle still looks, feels and drives like an AMG.
WHY ULTRALIGHT B4
LESS MASS.
MORE AMG.
Ballistic protection should not erase the reason you bought the vehicle. Reduced armor mass helps preserve acceleration, braking, suspension behavior and the unmistakable character of the G 63.
B4 PROTECTION
360° occupant-focused protection designed around common handgun threats.
LIGHTWEIGHT
Advanced composites reduce reliance on traditional heavy steel armor.
PRECISION FIT
Vehicle-specific digital engineering allows protection to follow complex factory geometry.
OEM DISCRETION
Armor is concealed behind original Mercedes-Benz interior and body components.

*U.S. shooting statistics are based on a peer-reviewed study of criminal shootings in Boston where firearm caliber was identified and describe that study population rather than national incidence. CEN BR4 certification is defined by its prescribed .44 Remington Magnum test condition. Protection claims for additional ammunition should be confirmed against the specific ballistic test documentation for the installed armor system.
