Getting an armored vehicle doesn’t always mean starting from scratch. If you’re looking to up armor your current vehicle, we can help. Armoring an existing vehicle is a fairly simple and cost effective approach.
The first step is to schedule a discovery call with our team. Our team of armored vehicle professionals will guide you through the process and options. Determining your desired armor level is the first and most critical component and will be the biggest determining factor in the process. This decision is heavily dependent on the specific threat level you aim to protect against.
B4 Armor Packages are the most cost effective and have the lowest impact on the overall weight of the vehicle when complete. The B4 Armor Package will provide protection against the most common threats such as 9mm and .45 Caliber handguns.
If your requirements dictate protection against high powered rifles, the B6 Armor Package ensures adequate defense against AK-47 and AR-15 style rifles.

You may have existing features in your vehicle that could have various options available when it comes to armoring. One of the most significant augmentations concerns the windows. It is relatively easy and cost-effective to have your windows armored; however, this modification often eliminates the ability to open or lower them. Should you desire to maintain motorized windows, it requires additional modification but can be added as an option. Additionally, the sunroof (if equipped) will be an important consideration. As standard, the sunroof will be covered with ballistic steel to eliminate the vulnerability. An adversary may not always position themselves to attack from flat ground, and leaving an unarmored sunroof can leave you vulnerable to threats. An available option (in most cases) is a fixed transparent armored glass sunroof, allows visibility while still providing protection.
Another important consideration is your vehicle's suspension system. Depending on your chosen armor package and the additional weight, it may be necessary to upgrade certain suspension components for optimal performance. This modification is typical in armored vehicles, although it is not always a requirement.
Once we’ve identified an armor solution, the armoring process begins. Your vehicle will be transported to our armoring facility and our team will begin preparing it for the armoring procedure. The vehicle will be meticulously disassembled, armoring installed and reassembled to factory specification. There will be almost no evidence of the armoring system’s installation. We aim to provide a final product that is virtually indistinguishable from stock form.
